We store this value as an identifier. We use it to recognise a returning visitor even when other identifiers change.
- A subscriber identifier passed to us in the link you clicked (a hashed value supplied by the email sender), and a traffic-source label and campaign code identifying which campaign you arrived from.
Third-party identity resolution
When you visit this Site, we may use third-party identity resolution technology to recognize anonymous traffic and associate visits with verified consumer identities. The technology collects only non-PII metadata (cookie IDs, device characteristics, IP address, and encoded query-string values). No plain-text personal information (such as your name, email, or phone number) is collected by this technology.
The collected metadata is matched against a continuously updated reference database to produce a hashed identifier, which is then resolved to a verified individual in a privacy-preserving identity graph. 2. Information you provide
If you complete our quote questionnaire, we collect:
- Identifiers: first and last name, postal address, city, state, ZIP, email address, telephone number, and date of birth.
- Insurance and vehicle information: whether you are currently insured, your current insurer, how long you have been continuously insured, the coverage level you want, and the year, make, and model of each vehicle you add.
- Characteristics: homeowner status, marital status, gender, military affiliation, and whether you are interested in home insurance.
- A record of your consent: the exact consent language displayed to you, the date and time you submitted it, your IP address, and your user-agent string.
3. How we use it
- To match you with insurance providers, agents, and other marketing partners.
- To route your request to the appropriate partner and to avoid sending the same person to the same partner repeatedly.
- To contact you — including by autodialed calls, prerecorded or artificial voice messages, text messages, and email — where you have given consent to be contacted.
- To measure and improve campaign performance, and to detect fraud and abuse.
4. How we disclose it — and the fact that we sell it
